I don't know how many of you noticed, but yesterday was a fantastic day! For once I managed to stick to plans so my day started early at 6.15am. Dad woke me up and then I started getting ready for the coast whilst checking out the surf cameras on my computer. It wasn't looking like a good day, the clouds were crowded above and the weather was coolish but I was relentless and continued getting ready.

I left my house and headed to Benji's where I picked up Benji, Jess and Amy. Jess and Amy rocked up in the yellow beast and all that was left was to raid Benji from his house, who was having one of his dreams and therefore skipped his alarm a few times. Eventually the ball was rolling and we were on the road before stopping at Macca's for a hearty breakfast. Benji and I actually chose to ate, whereas Amy and Jess decided paying out trashy celebrities would be more nutritional. We left after Benji picked up an FHM and continued on the road arriving at Main Beach at about 8.30am.

The traditional toilet block stop followed, then we ran onto the beach. The waves weren't quite there, nice and small, and there wasn't a great deal of whitewater or jellyfish unlike previous visits. The clouds parted a bit and the sun shone through, the signs of a good day. The water was refreshing, and as the morning continued on, the tide came in and the waves increased. Benji has his usual snappages but I think his best was when he got Jess onto his back and lured her into the waves, she got dunked and he escaped harmfree. Haha. There was a quite a few waves to be caught and I spent most of my time going back and forth between the shore and back out to the larger waves. By the time we left at 10am to find an internet kiosk, the sun was shining, the clouds were gone and it felt like 2pm! Getting to the beach that early is fucking great and I'm going to make it the usual Thursday morning routine now.

I had to find an internet kiosk to do my uni timetable as the subjects were being released and I wanted good times for this semester! Much babbling ensured on the drive to Surfers, mainly driven by me, and after almost taking out a small family on a pedestrain crossing, I found some internet kiosks in the shopping center. I got all my times, except I have to do Interaction Design on a Friday night... 5-8pm. That isn't alot of fun so I'm hoping I'll be able to swap it to the 12-3 slot that way I don't have to miss out on work! Whilst Benji and I were waiting for the girls, he got a little bored and decided to hack away at it just for fun's sake. He managed to bypass a bit but then the girls came back and we left for some lunch.

Subway was on the menu and it tasted pretty good, even sweeter after I pysched the cashier. Haha. The girls went shopping for a bit so Benji and I went looking for my new phone. I didn't find it at the Vodafone store but I'm sure it'll pop up somewhere soon. We all met up again and went to Timezone. We bickered for a bit about what to actually do there, but in the end we got two combo cards for unlimited games in an hour then a mini game at the end. The usual games followed, Time Crisis, Daytona, Basketball, Air Hockey and Pool before we cashed in our cards for a gender verus match of mini golf.

Benji and I got two holes in one, one each and after a few good shots by Amy and Jess it looked close, but in the end the guys came away with a 5 stroke win! The girls will deny it, and even tried ripping up the scorecard to prove it, but we have it on camera so I speak the truth smile The sky was clear once more so we headed to Surfers North for a swim.

Amy chose to read a Rave magazine that I swiped from Macca's whilst Benji, Jess and I headed to the beach. The waves were alot smaller then the morning, but the the conditions were just beautiful for swimming and relaxing. So inticing that we managed to stay in the water for an hour and a half before leaving to find Amy and head home. On the trip home we stocked up on ice creams and cheeseburgers and nuggets at the Macca's service center. The day ended at around 4pm and I gotta say, it was great day.

I spent the arvo relaxing before Yeastie and I went to Loganholme to look for clubbing shoes and a quick JB run. I managed to walk away empty handed from JB which I was proud of! I got home at about 8.30pm and then just crashed before I woke up this morning at 9.30am smile
